Mass Export Module

This new module was added to Archive Accelerator to provide fast, robust mass export of data from Enterprise Vault archives. It can be used when data needs to be:

• •  Exported to a third party for analysis
• •  Taken off-line for long term archival
• •  Preserved in a non-proprietary format
• •  Migrated to a separate archive

Any failed items are reported on, and can be retried again. The entire process is managed through a Management Console interface. Graphs showing hourly export rates are provided.

This process exports data along with key attribute information which is stored in XML format. The export process is multi-threaded and can be scheduled to run during certain hours. It is designed to scale to support export of billions of items.
